Primary Health Care Project in Iraq to upgrade thirty-six primary health care clinics to model clinics. TCA partnered with URC (University Research Co.) to purchase, deliver, install, and provide training for medical equipment.
HANAN Mother, Child Health and Nutrition Project in the West Bank. TCA partnered with John Snow, Inc. (JSI) to provide Procurement Needs Assessment and Advisory services to improve procurement procedures for the USAID Maternal and Child Health Program.
Health System Strengthening in Post-Conflict Iraq. TCA partnered with Abt Associates to facilitate rapid, universal health service delivery to the Iraqi population and strengthen the overall health sector to ensure medium and long-term viability. TCA’s role was to purchase all needed medical equipment and train users. In addition, TCA procured health supplies, drugs, pharmaceuticals, vehicles, and spare parts.
Improve the quality and increase the utilization of maternal, perinatal and child health services in Egypt. TCA’s role on the Healthy Mother/Healthy Child Results project was to manage the procurement, installation, and coordination of local institutional capacity training for use of computers, printers, medical equipment and supplies, audiovisual equipment, furniture, and vans In collaboration with USAID/Egypt and JSI.
Primary Health Care Initiatives (PHCI), a USAID bilateral public-health improvement-program in Jordan. PHCI included medical equipment destined for use in over 350 Primary Health Care clinics throughout the country. TCA was subcontracted by Abt Associates in Jordan for the procurement of computers, printers, medical equipment and supplies, audiovisual equipment, furniture and vans. TCA was also responsible for the logistics management, storage, inventory control, distribution and monitoring re-ordering levels. TCA applied its knowledge of the region, understanding of USAID procurement regulations, networks of suppliers, vendors’ shippers and freight forwarders both in the U.S. and in Jordan to ensure a well-documented fully compliant, fully open and competitive procurement program.
USAID Egypt – Egyptian Ministry of Health Diarrhea Control Project and Medical Equipment – TCA assisted in the project’s needs assessment, specs development, tender development, procurement, selection, award, shipping, customs clearance, shipping and installation.
TCA in collaboration with Abt Llc. developed the management structure for the training center of a major Egyptian pharmaceutical company in Egypt. This included developing organizational framework review of training program, recommendation for new subjects and content and design of financial templates to determine cost per job for training modules.
USAID Ethiopia Global Health Private Sector Project Academy for Educational Development (AED) TCA was a subcontractor to AED for providing training and institutional capacity building and procurement services.

Vaccines
Improving Quality of Child and Maternal Health Services nationwide in Egypt by supplying Hepatitis B vaccine cold chain logistics and training services. TCA, acting as a procurement services agent, delivered medical and laboratory equipment, incubators, health supplies, IT and audio-visual equipment, furniture, vehicles and spare parts. In addition, TCA coordinated logistics for installation and local institutional capacity training for the use of computers, printers, medical equipment and supplies, as well as audio-visual equipment. Deliver countrywide vaccine cold chain for the Child Survival Project (CSP) in Egypt. CSP was an umbrella project including the Acute Respiratory Infections Project, the Expanded Program of Immunization, and a countrywide cold chain for Hepatitis B vaccines. TCA provided commodity procurement services for procurement of incubators, vaccines, lab equipment, medical equipment and health supplies, computers, vehicles and spare parts. USAID Egypt – Child Survival Project – Clark Atlanta University – TCA was subcontracted by Clark Atlanta University to handle procurement and distribution of medical equipment and supplies including a country wide cold chain for hepatitis B vaccines under the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) component.

Global Health Private Sector Project (PSP) in Ethiopia. TCA partnered with the Academy for Educational Development (AED) to assist USG achieve targets of the Emergency Program for AIDS Relief and provide support to the treatment of Tuberculosis. TCA provided institutional capacity building, training, small grants and procurement services under contract program.
